-Besides taking the opportunity to tell you how
much I love your jewelry, I have a cool story to
share with you.
Last weekend Michelle Obama made a surprise stop at the campaign office in Eugene before she met up with Barack's motorcade to head up to the history-making Portland Waterfront rally.
Meeting her in person was a gift I'll always remember. Anyway, I had been wearing my "HOPE" earrings daily for about a month in advance of the Oregon primary, so of course I was wearing them when I spoke with Michelle. After I introduced myself to her, she noticed my earrings, looked at them closely and commented that they were beautiful, and that she hadn't seen them before!
We then got to talking about the importance of quality early childhood programs (I'm a preschool teacher) and she signed my copy of Dreams From My Father.
I then moved back to allow another volunteer to speak with her and approached one of her staff about how to send gifts to Michelle. I got the info and came home and ordered some earrings from you, which arrived promptly.
Thanks for that, by the way. You are awesome!
I'm planning to send her a pair of "HOPE" earrings, with one of the cards you included with my order, placed in the package. I just wanted to let you know.

I had so many comments on the necklace and passed out the extra cards you sent! One of my friends just grabbed the camera and took that shot and I love it--the necklace, my son--it seems to capture the whole essence of HOPE wrapped up in this campaign.

Hi - I received the earrings on Saturday and they are wonderful! I cannot wait to give my sister her earrings for her birthday.
I had just returned from a morning of canvassing for Obama when I opened the mailbox and there they were!

P.S. I don't know if I told you that I was elected Delegate to the National Convention committed to Obama. I plan to wear my jewelry to the convention in Denver and I have two of your cards.
